  • Unbox the carton and you will find the following accessories along with the printer.

  • Take out the Epson printer from the box and remove the protective tapes surrounding the printer.
  • Lift the scanner unit of the printer and remove the protective tapes to avoid any paper jams during the print job.
  • Plug the cable to the power source and the other end of the cable to the rear end of the Epson printer.
  • Lift the printer’s Control Panel and press the Power button located on the left side.
  • On the Control Panel, select the Language the Country and Time.
  • Now lift the scanner unit to install the ink cartridges.
  • Gently shake the black ink cartridge before unpacking it from the sealed package.
  • Hold the sides of the cartridge and remove the yellow protective tape.

  • Lower the Control Panel, lift the output tray from the printer and pull out the paper cassette.
  • Slide the paper edges to the corners, insert a stack of paper with the printable side facing down.
  • Slide the paper guides to the edges of the paper, make sure it is not holding the papers tight as it might lead to paper jams.
  • Slide the paper tray back into the printer.
