Amazon’s Alexa supports the Multi-room Audio feature that helps the users to stream music over multiple speakers at the same time. This feature lets you play music from Amazon Music, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, Pandora, Spotify, Sirius XM, Apple Music. To listen to more than one stream over different speakers simultaneously, you have to use the Amazon Unlimited Family Plan. Step 1 - Alexa app installation

If you have not installed the Alexa application on your smartphone yet, install it as per the instructions given here.


  • On the main screen of your Android mobile phone, find the Google Play Store application.
  • Open this application by tapping its icon.
  • Tap the search bar, type Amazon Alexa, and tap the search icon.
  • Tap the Install option next to the Amazon Alexa application.
  • The application will be installed on the Android mobile phone in a few seconds.


  • Launch the App Store application on your iOS device by tapping its icon.
  • Search for the Amazon Alexa app and select the same from the search results.
  • After you tap the Get option, the Amazon Alexa application will be installed on your iOS device.

Step 2 - Multi-room music setup

  • Open the Amazon Alexa application on your smartphone.
  • Tap the Devices icon at the bottom-right end of the screen.
  • Select the plus or add icon at the top-right end and tap the Set Up Multi-Room Music option.
  • Select your present group name and tap the Next option.
  • Note: You can even create your group name by tapping the Custom name option.
  • Choose the devices that you want to add in this group and tap the Save option.
