Turn on the Wi-Fi router after connecting it to the wall outlet.
Plug one end on the Ethernet cable into the WAN port of the Wi-Fi router and the other end to the LAN port of the ADSL modem.
Check whether the Internet LED is constantly glowing to ensure that the Internet connection is standard.
On your mobile, navigate to Settings and select the Wi-Fi tab.
Otherwise, swipe the home screen down or up and tap the Wi-Fi icon.
In the Wi-Fi window, select the More button and tap the WPS push button option.
Go near the Wi-Fi router and press the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button.
Once you are connected to the Wi-Fi network, open the browser app on your mobile.
Type the IP address of the Wi-Fi router in the URL and tap the Search or Enter icon.
You can identify the IP address of the Wi-Fi router from the label located at the back-side on the Wi-Fi router box.
Once the login portal appears on your mobile screen, enter the default username and password in the required fields.
You can identify the default username and password from the user guide that comes along with the Wi-Fi router during the first-time purchase.
Check the firmware version of the Wi-Fi router.
If prompted, download and install the latest firmware version for the Wi-Fi router.
Tap the Quick Setup tab from the left-side panel and select the Next button.
Enter the ISP provided network credentials in the required fields to configure the static IP address and other network settings.
Tap the Security tab and select the WPA-2 PSK radio button.
Enter your desired name in the Network Name field and create a strong password in the Wireless Password field.
Tap the Save button to save the applied changes.
Now, verify the connection by reconnecting your mobile with the created password.
