The Direct & Thermal transfer printing technology is used on the Citizen CL S631 printer. This printer is designed to deliver high-quality print output at low-cost.   • Open the Citizen CL S631 printer package by removing the two pieces of tape available on either side of the top cover.
  • Inside the box, along with the Citizen CL S631 printer, you can find components such as ribbon holder, sample ribbon, paper core, media holder guide, head cleaner, media holder bar, power cord, test label media, CD-ROM, and quick-start guide.

  • Connect the connecting cable to the wireless LAN interface board.
  • Re-fix the screws. Now, test the wireless LAN interface board by printing a network self-test page.
  • To do so, turn on your Citizen CL S631 printer.
  • Now, locate the blue-button available on the wireless LAN interface board, and press it.
  • The Citizen CL S631 printer will print the network self-test page.
  • Refer to the General Status, Wireless, TCP/ IP, and Novel status of the wireless LAN interface board on the network self-test page.
  • You can also configure the interface board settings.
  • You can use a web browser to configure the interface board settings.
  • To do that, open a web browser on your system.
  • In the address field, type the IP address of the interface board. The IP address of the interface board is printed on the network self-test page.
  • Once you reach the configuration page, click the TCP/ IP menu and enter the new TCP/IP address in the given field.
  • Make sure that the DHCP option is disabled.
  • If it is enabled, disable it and click the OK button.
  • After configuring the settings and connecting your Citizen printer and the system to the same wired or wireless network, try to perform a test print to check the printer functions.

Citizen Cl s631 Driver Download

Locate and click the Driver Download button available on this website to download the Citizen CL S631 printer’s driver file. If required, select your OS Family from the drop-down menu and click the OK button. Choose the driver file that you want and click the Download button. Once the selected driver file is downloaded successfully, connect your computer to the printer through USB, Ethernet, or Wireless connection, and perform the software installation to complete the entire printer setup.

Citizen Cl s631 Led Not Turn On

If your Citizen CL S631 printer’s power LED light is not blinking or turning on, then follow the instructions given below.

  • Check if the power cord is plugged to the correct port on the printer and the electrical outlet.
  • Tighten the power cord and turn on your printer.
  • If the power LED remains turned OFF, then check if the power cord is damaged.
  • If so, replace the damaged power cord with a new one.
